When i dialled the number back on redial i received the message:

"Optus advises that this number is not connected."

I redialled about 15 seconds after calling, having checked here first to see if it is listed as spam. I have now blocked this number.

Why are they calling me if I'm on the do not call register, what is the bloody point of the DNC register? And I am never going to buy solar panels from some dodgy phone spammers.

Got a call from some guy pushing solar panels and when I didn’t respond with anything but the word “hello” he started going nuts swearing at me and telling me he was going to kill me... I found this genuinely hilarious... As he carried on, I responded with nothing but the word “hello”. This only seems to add fuel to his fire and increased the comedic value of this experience. He ended up hanging up on me... 🤣🤣🤣

You have to re add yourself to the do not call register every year, it sucks
