I am calling from Telstra there seems to be a problem with your internet connection. At that point I told her she was lying and that I was going to report the call to the Police and I hung up on her. The same voice has called my number at any hour during the last several days. When my wife answered one of the calls the caller asked to speak to "the main person" What a hide assuming that the person answering was not "the main person". BEWARE! It's a phishing scam trying to get personal information out of you so they CAN do you some mischief!

Call multiple times even on weekends - supposedly from Telstra & need to fix the virus in my computer. Am not with Telstra for a start. Why can't the police trace & stop these callers?

What a wonderful chance for a young eagle legal to make a name for themselves to seek compensation thru the courts, and close them down. Come on you young lawyers - here is a game thats ripe for you.

Beware.....definitely a scam call.Caller claimed to be from Telstra. Lot's of call centre background noise. He said that viruses have been getting into my computer after recent internet activity and wanted me to turn my pc on for him. I told him that I don't have a computer, and that I use an iPad to access the net after which he suddenly hung up.

Have received 4 calls in last two days, just started after we initiated a call to Telstra tech support which was answered in the Phillipines and we wonder if that operator has passed on our details to scammers?

Very, very rude and calling later and later. Claiming to be from Telstra saying there has been a breach in the internet, even though we don't have an account with Telstra! Call back the number and the message is that the number is invalid.
