Caller: Claimed to NBN and that they have been trying to contact me. I was told that my landline service would be disconnected within 24 hours, and to hold the line and press 1 to speak with a technician. I rang Optus (my current supplier) and was informed this was a hoax call. I have already received written advice that NBN will be ready in my area within 3 months
