Usual story. An interstate number, no message left. I assume scam.

Called twice - no message - assume scam

Some scammer called on my mobile (knew my name) talking about my electricity - could hardly speak english. Could not even say New South Wales (ne south weeels).

Called and didn’t leave a message. Googled the number and found out it’s probably unsolicited energy telemarketers. Thanks all!

Happening to me over the last few days. I suspect they are using a cloud based phone system which allows them to ring from any country disquised as an Australian number albeit in a different state to me. It maybe if you call the number back that you pay for the call and they get a split of the proceeds from the phone operating company.

I blocked the number yesterday but I’ve just received another call. I rang back to a voicemail stating research for electricity retailer. I’ve left a message demanding my number be removed. Nice to know the “blocked call” function does not work

Just a telemarketer leaving a message. I blocked right away.

Missed a call, I called back & number was busy, then they called me again. Very suspicious. Don’t know anyone in Winton.

Yep , same here. Engaged landline , called me six times today and when I answer the pricks hang up lol grrrr , some scam electricity thing.

Been called twice by this. No message left obviously by the other comments it's a scam. Will now block this number.

Spam call for electricity company

The time between picking up and someone talking is always a dead giveaway...and to be rude when they finally talk as if I was holding them up is a immediate hang up for me - number blocked but they will ring from a different number next tome I’m sure

Probably a scam from what I can tell

Started getting calls from this number 2-3 calls a day, voice message left was Hello? Hello? Hello? Call centre background noise. Called back but busy tone and disconnected.

Someone from “energy saver”. Did not introduce self. Only said from “energy saver” after I specifically asked. Told them not interested but still keep calling.
