Guys, I have had calls from this number as well, I have contacted AGL and this is NOT one of their numbers. It is listed as a scam number in their system.

This number is from the AGL credit collections department. This is an IVR automated service to let you know that you have a bill outstanding or that payment has not been received. When you accept the call the automated voice will ask for you to verify it is the account holder then it will tell you the outstanding amount of the bill and ask if you have made payment in last 3 days or to make payment today or. 3 options is to make payment within 14 days. This is not a telemarketer or sales person. It is actually a helpful service but it won’t stop calling unless you accept the call and advise them of payment

Of the last couple of days, I I have received phone calls from various numbers , Finding out it was an AGL Scam. I had a bill That was slightly overdue, So I contacted AGL and Sorted it out , and this afternoon another phone call Which Now I have blocked .

If it is agl as the other comments suggest, they need a better practice, particularly utilizing available technologies such as email, rather than having an automated robot dialer that leaves no message.

Extremely annoying service used by AGL to remind you of overdue bills. Provides options for if you have recently paid or want to pay now.
Unfortunately the system is completely automated and will spam you with calls. I have had this false flag my account which was in credit (I called then spent half an hour on hold to find out there was no problem at all). This time it was at least legitimate, but extremely lame, since my account was only in deficit by a few dollars.

I received call from this number today.. maybe they shouldn't make power bills so bloody expensive. AGL are thieving Crooks like the rest of them and now they are going to charge card fees if you use card to pay or 3.20 if you pay on person. Fraudsters, scammers, con artists

AGL Extremely annoying and frustrating though because I've just had a look and have literally received 20 missed calls within the last month which is just down right ridiculous ! I do NOT have any outstanding bills/money owing however also keep received messages stating I have a bill that's now overdue and was meant to be paid on the so and so date.... This date though is always a date in the future !! How on earth can I be late or miss a payment for a date in the future that hasn't even happened yet !!? This is harassment ! I definitely don't appreciate being non stop hounded nearly daily for outstanding bills that I don't even have !!! Sort your sh*t out AGL ! This is beyond the joke now.

Came up as Bebo ? but didn't leave a message. Will never call back a number if no message is left.

I had four missed calls from the same number

I called them back and it sounds like the real Agl without continuing with the call. BUT my account is $200s of dollars in credit 😑 so why are they falling me from "suspected scam number " (warned from my phone company) on this day !

Phone said is was Spam so I did not answer
