Received the same call, suspected it was a scam which has been confirmed by this comment.

Call answered on my landline. Automated male voice (1st scam sign) started with "Dear Customer" (2nd scam sign). Voice went on to say that the call was from Visa card security about an over $1,000 overseas gift card purchase on my card. Then came the usual press 1 to cancel the transaction or 2 to speak to someone (3rd scam sign). I hung up & suggest anyone receiving this type of call does the same. SCAMMER!!!!
One comment above says their call was from the "PayPal security department".

called back - not a legit number - from Jericho in QLD - only 229 people live there so why call me?
