Caller: Miserable Scum I was asked to attention a "Your Computer Might be infected by Trojans" that got loaded onto web browser of a laptop. Checked the number and it is clearly scammers. To get rid of the virus use Ctrl-Alt-Del and bring up task manager and click on the browsers Icon in the Processes Tab amongst the Apps. Right-Click and select end task. It will get rid of the virus. Don't ring the number. Scan your computer with anti-virus.

Seems to be a scam. Computer locked up and asked me to call this alleged Microsoft support number for assistance. Claimed to be a Microsoft technician in Sydney. Sounded quite convincing. Got me to go through a procedure starting with the Windows key and R to give him remote access. I stopped at the point where I had a code to give him and managed to stop and restart the computer.

a "Mircosoft" scam about locking your computer and needing to call this number to unlock the computer. I used "Ctrl+Alt+Del" and closed the web browser and it went away. Did NOT call this number
