The message spoke so quickly, we could not understand. Press one to cancel, etc 9 to talk to an agent. I dialled the number on another phone. It eventually rang out although there was a message stating the call was important. I have blocked the number.

Caller: 'Anthony from Ebay' When i didn't answer the call a text message was sent that I apparently I had made a $299 purchase and there was a link to go to. I do not even have an Ebay account. Deleted text and called the number from a fixed line, when Anthony from Ebay answered. Without giving my name or number I asked why they had called me. He then hung up.

Caller: Said they were calling from Ebay I don't have an account with Ebay - and said I would report this.
