Called yesterday via a mobile for people living below poverty line and then today from this number for rainforest. Exactly same lady..."not looking for regular donations but even a ince off one can help". When said you called me yesterday with exact same line about poverty hung up.

I had missed call from this number, I checked here to see who’s belong this number.

Similar thing happened to me, asking donations for rain forest . The same as you I gave them my email then they asked for my address and then my date of birth. I didn’t give them and hung up

I found them suspicious. She claimed to be fund-raising for people living below the poverty line but when I asked them to send me email so that I can review their information later, she did not want to do that. They called before using another number a month or so before in Aug and kept trying to talk me in to donate on the spot. When I told them I would give them my email, they asked for my postal address. Come to think about it, I don't even know the name of the organisation.

One ring and then hang up. May be a scam?
