This numbers called me about 6 times today. Didn't answer any of them. Lucky I googled it and found this site.

Thank god for your comments. This number called me but I missed it, thought i'd check to see who it was. Good thing I did. It seems to only be affecting Optus users and it's only started in the last month. Definitely don't answer this number.

How to legally fight these idiots?!

This Number rang my mobile recently, could not answer at that time (luckily), deflected call. Checked today on Reverse Australia to see if any details. Thanks Guys & Gals for the comments. What a great site!! Now this jerk is on my caller ID as Do Not Answer !!

Just called me claiming to be optus, asked how much I spend on a prepaid phone (I'm on a plan) I then continued to call bullsh*t and he fought back and goes how do you know we're not optus, I stated the obvious reasons and hung up, has since been called back 3 times in the last 2 hours!!

I get calls from them all the time and I always tell them to not call me again. The first time I spoke to them the man wanted to change my phone plan and I said no. Then he got very angry at me and threatening because I wouldn't change my plan. Such a scam.

Scam, I've been them false details just to f*ck with them

Definitely a scam as they still call even though I have stated at least twenty times over the past three months that I no longer have account with Optus.I stated to them that They are not an Optus registered number they hung up. And still they call as many as three times a day

Just spoke with Optus and they did a trace on the number - it is not a registered Optus number so is definitely a phishing call.

I got a call saying that it was some one on behalf of Optus - saying that there was an issue with my Prepaid Mobile.
Mind you he was referring to the number he called me on which is on a plan.. I tried to question it and the call 'dropped out'
