Nuisance caller!! Calls then hangs up if answered! Calls continuously, but never speaks! Won't answer if called back!

This person is now bugging me with hourly phone calls. Please be advised that this has now been reported to police and charges are going to be laid. I will keep you all updated on the outcome.

I'll refer it to the Upper Mt Gravatt Police Stn where I have contacted Police, but been advised to start with Telstra. However Nuisance Calls Dept Telstra advises that another provider is responsible for the service , and they are using Telstra facilities.Ive contacted Optus but due to a communication barrier (I cannot understand the customer service operator) Iam awaiting a call from the Supervisor.No call as of Sat 23rd 9:00am.

I have reported this to ACMA.

Calls every day. If you are reading this, H Kerr of Bundaberg West (where the calls originate) this will stop. Idiot.

The reason no one answers is because it is connected to a machine which logs your times of answering, so when a human decides to ring you they know the best time of day to ring you... this sort of thing has been going on for at least two years.....

get your service povider to block the number. Nuisance/Unwelcomed calls.

It is a company called Education Media

Optus Investigations Department have informed me that a warning has been sent to 41532167's carrier provider. Optus will not inform me who is that provider.If I receive any more calls Iam to call Optus (they are my provider) 133 066, option 1, option 1, option 4 and inform them immediately.
I have not received any calls for the last 10 days

Have had countless calls from this number today. How about you just ping off entirely you bloody moron!!!

same many calls over recent weeks. 8 calls on Easter Monday, 10 calls yesterday, have had enough as a shift worker this harrasment is not acceptable. I have reported to the do not call register as it is illegal for these idiots to phone on a public holiday. I agree they should be charged with harassment.

Don't blame H. Kerr The number is being spoofed. The call is originating overseas and the caller in my case was a ESL woman purporting to be conducting a survey on behalf of Education Media. I strung her along for a while to waste a bit of her time before she got fed up and hung up.

I answered the second time they called and the lady wanted me to participate in a survey about how well Qld students were doing in Math & English. She said I HAD to answer her questions. I told her I wasn't going to do the survey as my kids have done the NAPLAN tests and that should be enough. She has now called 6 times in the last 3 hours.

Public holiday and this number calls and hangs up. When I ring back they don't answer. Something needs to be done about this and charges laid this in my opinion is harassment

They just rang here, Easter Monday!!
Something to do with ringing parents with school age children.
I said I didn't have any.
They said OK and ended the phone call

Same as everyone else - got several calls yesterday but hangs up and doesn't answer when called back. I wonder if it's a kid.

3rd call in 2 days but spoke to caller this time. Caller stated her name was Sandra from Education Media and wanted to do a survey. When asked how she got the number she said from electoral roll. When this was disputed she said that it was random. When asked where she was calling from she said Chatswood, Sydney. When asked why the 07 number she stated that it was a VOIP phone. Asked if she knew of the Do Not Call register, she hung up.

Contacted ACMA Australian Communications & Media Authority on 23rd March 2013. The ACMA has no legal powers to interven in such problems. They advise to continue complaints through my provider..Optus.
If not satisified to continue my complaints with the Telecommunications Industry Ombubsman 1800 062 058.

So far has rang 3 times today, then hang up when answered. Not looking followed to what ever one is saying
