Scam. Caller asks you to press 1 to fix your phone or router. Hang up; Do NOT press 1.

I do not speak when I pick up the phone, and it hangs up. I'm getting on average three to four calls a day from these numbers, surely there is a way to stop them?

I know two ways to deal with these scammers. They are using auto-diallers to ring you!
Either turn on your answering machine or pickup the phone and don't talk just listen. The autodialler will hangup as it does not detect an active line. Why is it that this group of people have no sense of decency?

a**hole calls once every week and just hangs up when we answer the phone ....apparently once you answer they get paid for confirming your number

don't leave messages. dont answer when you pick up. mutiple calls during same day.

Scammers. Call at all hours of the day/night and hang up when answering machine kicks in. LOL

Bogus call. Called back and the number was not in service.

Used by scammers!
