Calling at a least once a week, normally during work hours. I answered once and it was silent for 10 seconds, then they hung up. I am a donor but I will call them when I can give blood! I have now blocked the number.

Calls once a week without fail!!!!!! From other comments it sounds like it’s Red Cross for Blood Donations. Called me that many times I’ve memoriesed the number and just purposely leave it ring out. Used to be every Friday. Now it’s every Thursday. Pain in my ass. I’ve now blocked the number. If I want to donate, I’ll organise it myself. I shift work all over the shop so it’s hard to work around my roster that far in advance and I’ve found the caller(s) to be overly pushy and trying to force you to book an appointment.

I understand the action of giving blood is important, but the harrasment has gotten to the point of insanity! Pretty sure half my blocked list is Red Cross.

If no message is left by a number I do not have saved, it gets blocked.

I automatically hang up when I hear the silence you get from these auto-dialer systems, because EVERY other one that calls me is marketing BS. I don't mind hearing from Red Cross - blood donation saves lives. BUT I won't hang around from calls from auto-dialers that start with silence.....

Calls every single day, I donated once and unfortunately got very sick and they had to stop right away. when they wouldn’t stop calling I told them to please put my details on hold as I won’t be able to donate blood again until I feel comfortable and would make arrangements myself. The calls stopped for 3 weeks and then started immediately again.

Ditto other people. So tired of them calling me!! You donate once and they call you constantly after that. There is no opt out either. This is just ridiculous.
More people would donate if they pushed for legislation change so people are paid for their donations.
