Claimed he was not from Telstra , but there had been some unusual faults on my internet , he said Telstra dont usually call but in urgent issue they get him to call ,, went on to ask about my computer and if I had it on ,. I thanked him and said bye

Another scam about my computer sending messages and sending virus to Telstra network. Called his bluff by asking for employee number, he hung up then.
