Students are roped into calling Alumni. First they say that they are interested in finding out about how you progressed in your career, and then they ask you to donate money to help students with their studies.

I called back number (07) 3737 2200 reached voice mail of company called queensland call center

Don’t call me to solicit funds as I can’t afford to donate any.

With Government defunding universities their students have to be chiggers. It’s humiliating for all concerned.

Caller: Said they were from AAMI insurance

I'm not an AAMI customer nor would there be any reason for them to be calling me. Fast talking hard to understand possibly asian accent. Wanted my name, car rego, address, email address. So obviously a scam that seems to go back many years from this number! Probably a spoofed calling number.

Caller: University of QLD

Like everyone else said, spam caller from UQ asking for money. However, when asked not to call, and we hung up, they instantly called back. annoying.
