Students are roped into calling Alumni. First they say that they are interested in finding out about how you progressed in your career, and then they ask you to donate money to help students with their studies.

Caller: Said they were from AAMI insurance I'm not an AAMI customer nor would there be any reason for them to be calling me. Fast talking hard to understand possibly asian accent. Wanted my name, car rego, address, email address. So obviously a scam that seems to go back many years from this number! Probably a spoofed calling number.

Initially introduced themselves as being part of the Uni survey group, asked about my career progression post graduation, simply to built rapport I expect, then proceeded with the hard sell to donate for the Aspire Scholarship.
