Legitimate call from Shannons about my insurance account from the person I had just spoken to on a previous call

Caller: insurance company by the looks of it...

This number has called me numerous times over the last week. Some of the calls have literally been seconds apart but not one call has rung long enough to be answered- it really is very annoying and quite rude for a business to do this if they are actually an insurance company.

Definitely legit - however, as all suncorp companies seem to use the same dial out number, it is easy to phreak and scam.

Call ID was Suncorp but actually GIO relating to a claim in progress. Received an email as followup. Legit

My insurance claim was over 6 weeks ago. I THINK it’s them but why ring when the claim isn’t pending

Legit call regarding insurance claim

Called me three times, I don’t have insurance and as such they would have no reason to contact me. I promptly blocked the number after the third call and looking the number up on reverse Australia.

They said they were from Aami - similar to everyone else here, wanted my personal info, which seemed odd as they had rung me. I think the number must be spoofed - it seems it is the actual insurance company number, but it wasn't them ringing me.

Caller was from GIO for a legitimate claim I have. He did not leave a message. He sent me an email requesting that I return his call to discuss my recovery progress, when I have time.

Missed call from this number , lucky googled to find out who it was. I have no claims with Suncorp. No car . Noisurance claim ..nothing...oviously they using this number a legit one and scamming through internet overseas.... It happens...

They call, call and call and don't leave a message. I have no insurance with Suncorp or its subsidiaries. Don't have an insurance claim and haven't had one in many years.

Legitimate call. My husband smashed both of our cars in our own driveway (dont ask!) last week and this is GIO calling me about the claim.

But as scammers are able to clone real phone numbers, it always pays to be careful, so I let it go to voicemail and the call was legit

Could not understand a word they said. I do have an insurance claim in but will call back on the usual line. Hopeless when the person speaking is unintelligible
