Telemarketing said I entered a competition up to 2 years ago wanted to verify personal information. SCAM BLOCKED NUMBER!

Scam, so many on a daily basis these days even after blocking the numbers :-(

called me and left no voicemail. I called back and the first thing I heard was "your call is important to us, please stay on the line and we'll transfer you to the next available agent". stayed on hold for 2 minutes and no-one took my call so I hung up. I would say they are trying to sell something. I work at an international school and can recognise a lot of accents, this one sounds filipino so most likely an overseas based office for telemarketing.

I’ve won an android tablet, just need someone to come and talk to me for half an hour about some crap!

Had my name which i am not happy about. Same as others here, told me I'd entered a competion for an iphone or woolies voucher a while ago. When i said no not me he hung up..

constant calls all day long. annoying!

Phoned the number and a recorded message said "GOODBYE" and that is all - DODGY!!

Missed the call as I don’t answer to numbers I’m not familiar with. They’ve been calling every 3 days for a few weeks now. So I blocked my caller ID and tried to call back. Got an automated voice that only says “goodbye” then disconnects you. This is a scam for sure! They also use the number ‭(07) 3150 4009‬.

They called and hung up when I answered. I called back, and a lady with a British accent said she was from Homes Plus or something like that, following up a survey for a competition I entered "a while back". She did ask me if my name was Stephanie, which it is, so I'm not sure how she got that info. Blocked.

Said I entered competition to win an iPhone. I don't enter competitions, so this is a scam to phish for personal details for ID theft. AVOID!

Called to say that I’d entered a competition (I never enter competitions) and that I was eligible for an iphone.
I cut her off as I knew it was a cold call.

No body spoke. They just hung up after I answered
