Caller: scammer - pretending to be Gilmore O'Neil & Partners

Apparently from Gilmore O'Neil & Partners, wanted to set up a call with a Licenced Mortgage broker - saying we had reached out a year ago.
A LOAD OF BOLLOCKS!
Told her we weren't and wouldn't be planning on changing - she ended up hanging up after I mentioned data breach.... THIS NUMBER IS A SCAM! STAY AWAY.

Caller: Hang Up Call

When I get an unknown / suspicious call, I answer but remain silent for a few seconds. If it is a scam / telemarketer etc they drop off. This was exactly that.

Cold called several times, with different numbers, from females with strong non English accents, claiming I had contacted them with regards to superannuation. They lie. About everything.

Caller: May from Gilmore partners

Definitely a scam caller reading from a script.

Asked for me by name, my daughter said that that was her dad, but she then started reading from her script asking my daughter if she remembered the conversation from last time. My daughter said no & passed the phone to me & it all began again saying I spoke to them earlier this year & asking do I remember it? I said no so she continued anyway saying they wanted to make sure I was getting the best return in this volatile market & had I noticed my super balance dropping. I lied & said I was in an indexed guaranteed super & the market didn't affect my balance. She said "oh" & hung up.

Thanks heaps for this Optus (•̀o•́)ง

Lady said her name was May and she was calling from Gilmore and partners. She had rung me a week prior saying she had spoken to my husband a year ago, I told her to ring me back so I could confirm with my husband. Confirmed with my husband that he had never spoken to them and when she rang back again I told her this and that we already have a financial planner and we're not interested. I didn't even get to finish that sentence and she'd hung up the phone. She's a scammer, don't give her any details!

Cold called suggesting that we had spoken some time ago about my superannuation, which is not true. So either scammers or desperate business using dodgy tactics to get clients
