Rang but left no message. Going from the above comments I'm glad I didn't answer.

Sub-Continental fraudster inquiring about my road accident when I don't even drive a car.

Scam. Scottish/Indian? caller knew my first name and claimed that I had been in a car accident. Called it a scam and and hung up.

Called and when I asked who it was he immediately said he was calling in regards to a car accident I was in 8 months ago- I said I haven't had my lisence for that long (on my P's) and he said I didn't have to have a lisence to be in the accident- all the while he was talking with food in his mouth. Told him to screw off and stop calling me

I have received a call from the same guy on (07) 3911 1132, asking about an accident I had been in....when I pressed him for the company he was calling from he hung up. How did he get my mobile number, it is set as private and he knew my name.

Same. told me he was ringing about a car accident I told him yes I was aware of this phone scam and I was taking legal action already and hung up

This is an absolute fraud regarding some Irish guy calling up regarding an apparent car accident. The Qld Police fraud squad should be contacted if they call you.

Same call, Irish dude trying to say I was involved in an accident a few months ago and that there is a settlement in my favour. False phishing expedition.

Yep ... they are still trying the old "you've been in an accident" scam - Irish sounding fellow named "Joe". Now blocked on my mobile ... until they get a new number.

Got a call from this idiot. Said he's idiot friend was calling to tell jokes then said oh wait no sorry calling cos you had an accident a few weeks ago and then hung up.

The same car accident scam. The bloke asked me if I was involved in car accident lately. I told him to stop calling me with his scam.

This number rang my mobile number at 12.38 pm on 6/9/17 - guy had an accent (could have been Irish?) - he said I'd been involved in an accident a couple of months ago. I answered that no, I hadn't - and said this was a scam. He hung up pretty quickly!

Same, Irish accent regarding motor vehicle accident. When I said I was not involved in an accident he hung up

Told him I had the number and would report to police
Hoax call

Followup car service hung up twice when I started asking questions who they are after he asked that I reported a car accident.
