Call in relation to an 'accident' and saying he was from the 'claims team'

missed a call from this number, they did not leave a msg...and I did not call back given what I have just read.. Thank you all!

When I pressed 1 to confirm I was in an accident. the extremely ruse individual on the other end of the line, refused to give which company he was calling from and "what was I not getting". I asjked to speak to a manager and was hung up.

Obvious a scam but how are these people finding about "accident"? are my insuarance company selling my details?

Definitely a scam. Steve saying he is from claims dept re accident. No company name or other details.

This number called but there was no one on the line, just silence.

Called back it was a pre recording of “this is Steve calling you about your accident”. I’ve never had an accident 🤣

Caller: “Steve”. Scam

Had missed call. Phoned back and it was a prerecorded message from “Steve” who was calling about an accident I was involved in.
I was not involved in any accident. This is a scam.

Insurance scam

Called. Left no message. When I called back, it was an automated message from someone called “Steve” and the “accident you were involved in”.
