This number said they were from some communications place and I asked them how they got my number they said public record when I challenged them and said my number was private and unlisted they tried to backtrack and I simply said I'm not interested and hung up.

Missed the call rang back come up with a dodgy voice mail telling me the date I wish these dodgy f&$?kers would piss off

This is a call centre number used by people flogging telephone plans. My caller had a poor grasp of English, and in the end she gave up on me. A good result.
