Keeps calling me, when I answer call is silent and weird crk sound before call terminated after about four seconds. Rung back and got voice mail for a charity, that says I've donated in the past. I'm pretty young so I've never donated to charity over the phone before. Blocked

Called number back as didn't show up on Reverseaustralia. Recorded message said you have received a missed call from a charity you have supported in the past - I then terminated the call.

Saying found that i did not cancel my old super funds after i switched

Funny is that i am extremely on top of my money matter. I even use Excel to index my personal financials. It was a scam

I don't answer calls from numbers I don't know.

Caller: “Green Peace Australia”

Called me saying I had signed a petition online about the great Australian bight which I did. Asked if he could do a survey which I thought was a bit weird but I did it anyways and then proceeded to ask if I’d be able to donate 2.50 a week or $10 a month and was very persistent on me giving the money. After telling him probably 5 or more times I was not comfortable giving my information over the phone we ended the call. May have been fake, may have been legit. I’d rather be skeptical and not lose my money.

When I asked “Who are you?” the person hanged up.

Hung up as soon as I answered.

Just missed call. No message left. Called back, no response.. Blocked.

Phoned my home number , which is on the do not call register, then short time later rang my mobile. Both times there was no answer.

Caller: Australian Conservation Foundation

Called me saying they were from: Australian Conservation Foundation with a request for a monthly donation. Had my details from my online subscription to ACF newsletter. When I rang number back there was a recorded message that said you have received a missed call from a charity you have supported in the past. Very sceptical.

Disconnects as soon as you answer. Block them!!!

I've been receiving an average of 2 - 3 calls a week for the last three weeks. Haven't picked up as it is not a known number to me and no voicemail message left. Figured it was a scam and other commentators have confirmed my suspicions.

I've now blocked this number from calling me.

They keep calling and never leave a message. Figured it would be a nuisance call and judging from all the comments, it is.

Phoned me 4 times in the last week. I missed each one.
Glad I checked here before returning the call.
Will now block.
