Today I answered a call from a suspected spam number, the lady who spoke offered me a 30% discount on Vodafone. So I said "not interested im very happy with Optus". The caller then said "Vodafone and Optus are working together", at that point I immediately hang up. I then went to Optus and told them about the call and was told "Optus and Vodafone would never work together". I was then told to report the call to police. The number calling me supposedly originated from an 07 area code and was something like (07) 3544 3461.
