Lavaka was his name either from Panthera or Lion Finance who continuously rings an elderly woman to reach me. ASIC were advised of the harrassment and elderly abuse from this company and did nothing cause it still persists..
I've been threatened to be taken to court, well bring it and let's see where fraud upon the court ends up..

I get these calls every 6 to 8 months asking for some person that has a similar name to mine with the same last name. I have told them numerous times that they got the wrong number but they keep calling every 6-8 months. They are chasing up some CBA credit card debt. I've had enough of these people.Unfortunately I'm in Victoria otherwise they would have had it from me by now.

Caller: I think a debt collectors company

Continue to get calls from this number,
A gentlemen by the name of Emilio asks for a member of staff,
he is incredibly rude and as such this reflects poorly on the employee.
I understand that people have to pay their debts, but is it fair that there reputation at the company that generates their income gets tarnished ?

What a load of crap. Try that approach and watch your credit rating slip, and your possessions go out the door.

Go back to the finance company and ask them to present you the contract you signed. When they do not find it, demand compensation for them putting bad credit reports on your credit file. If they persist to be peasants, then you need to ask them this question. Demand: "What is the LAW that states a contract is still valid when the finance company didn't sign the contract?" - This law does not exist. I have beaten a $44,000 car lease. A $12,000 credit card, and I'm doing it with 2 other company's now. You may sign, but they never do. By asking the right questions, you will have beaten them at their own game. Also ensure that you have evidence of these calls. Record them, but tell them they are being recorded. Or have them call you back, and record them. You do not need to tell them if they called you.

call from (07) 3535 9000 - calling a business, wanting to speak to a member of staff... "unable to provide the company name from which they were calling, due to privacy issues", which is rather quite funny, as they were calling a business, and it's my job to "announce all calls" - company name & all. Staff member was not available. I was then GRILLED by the caller, as to when that person would be available. "due to privacy @ this company, I am not able to disclose that information", which was then responded to by the caller in a very rude manner. This is not on. These kinds of callers, should themselves be held accountable, as I am not a) here to do their job, and b), not here to be spoken to in such a fashion, by them, or anyone. This is tantamount to BULLYING & should be reported.

Anton? was the name given, but this was the number given to call back on. the odd thing is that someone called a daughter of my partners friend and asked for my partner. but my partners friend has a brand new number and there would be absolutely no reason why they would contact her looking my my partner. Guy called Ollie rang me. Addressed me by my name and said he had been trying to get hold of my neighbour across the road for a few days. Addressed her by her name and also spoke of her daughter. Said that he was ringing mobile ending in XXXX (which was correct). He asked would I mind giving them a message. I asked which company he was from. He said he was acting on a Personal matter for her and please give me the number to call and asked her to quote Ref No. xxxxxx . Google searched the above number and found belonged to Mercantile. I am going to lodge complaint.

Lying cheats will use facebook and contact your work colleagues and ask them to try and contact the person who has the debt....after a heated discussion with one of the chumps that answers the call says they will use "any" method and any third party to contact a customer.

I frequently use a Debt Collector and i tell you, they don't have the debt. What a load of sh*t.
its still belongs to the people you owe money too. The supplier actually pays the debt collector to get the money from the client who hasn't paid. Extra cost to the supplier.
And if they stop calling you, then they are preparing to take you to court. good luck with that.

They rang my person tattoo artist trying to get information out of them? My tattooist rang me at 8pm at night to tell me they had just rung. I've never heard from them before ever. I rang them number back and refused to give any details over the phone and I blasted them about about hassling my tattoo artist.
