Debt Collection agencies who ring facebook friends work colleagues and is extremely rude , I have taken legal action for the constant harassment.

Harassed me as a business owner saying he would keep calling till the employee returned his call.
Employee was only occasional causal. Message was pasted on.
Reporting this to the police.

It's not a scam, and it's not fraud. They are licensed debt collectors that specialize in reaching customers that are often avoiding communication, and have not dealt with their outstanding obligations. If they are trying to reach you, the best thing you can do is call them back. If you put your number on private, you can always hang up if you don't like what you hear.

Called me again, but as I blocked the number came through as a missed call.

Debt collector called but left no message. I called them back after reading the information posted by others on this number. The company was from QLD and were chasing debts from someone who lived in a street I used to live in 10 years ago - was actually the person who I think bought the house from me. Originally I spoke to a man in an Indian accent but was then put onto a man with an Australian accent. It seemed legit. But why they don't leave a message when they call is a bit strange. I think if there was a message left by the Australian man I would have been more likely to call back. But they had called twice in a matter of 2-3 days and not left a message which seemed suss. But I think it's legit from what I can tell.

Don't normally answer numbers I don't know but was half asleep as they called me at 10am, had a thick accent, knew my name and was said the business name which I didn't catch due to being half asleep and the thick accent but reading the other complaints on here might have been Standard8 did catch the man's name. Wanted to speak with a neighbour of mine but the street name he had was my former address and I haven't lived there in 8 years. I had no idea who is was talking about anyway. Also, who the f calls a ramdom neighbour to chase a debt? Could be a scam, just said I don't live at that street anymore and hung-up on them. I blocked and reported spam on my phone.

Ringing in regard to someone who has a debt with them, I no longer am in communication with said person they are after as I have told them and they’re still ringing me regarding the matter to pass messages on. Will call friends, work anyone they can find constantly even after being asked to not contact further regarding the matter.

Called to find out if a neighbour was still at street address as wanted to contact them. No idea how they got my number or address??

I received a call from this number but Telstra automatically blocked it, because of the number being associated with fraudulent activity.

If this number is calling you, you have debt, it's not a scam and you should take the call

Was looking for a friend of mine but didn't say what they wanted
