Call from Asian man trying to sell 'internet service', but after telling him I don't require a new internet service as am on a contract that will not expire for 2 years, he said was not 'selling' an internet service but that I needed a 'private' internet service - I already have VPN - hung up as he is obviously from a bogus scammer.

Call went to voicemail but no message left. Searched now number and found this page so assume spammer. Now blocked

Money Claim Scam.

Caller: Alice

Claims to be from swift. Some trading company. Spam

Caller: Asian lady

Picked up. Asian lady automated message. Hung up

Said they were from Telstra & my internet ip had been comprised, gave ids etc but i ended call & checked with Telstra & it was a SCAM.

Called multiple times and did say anything when the phone was answered.

Caller: Sounded like an Indian subcontinent person calling himself Kevin from Telstra.

"Kevin from Telstra" called to tell me that my internet service provider has sent in some critical alerts that my internet connection is now "Public" and unsecured. Kept repeating that this is not a sales call and that he is not trying to sell me anything but trying to protect me and my data connection, wanted to know all the devices I use to conect to the internet. Told him I would not tell him so got aggressive and said I was scared of the data security breach etc ... told him politely to go sway and hung up. Looked up this number and found the above comments.

Asian lady who asked for me by my first name. I asked who she is and she gave an unintelligible name from a company called Cota or Cotis??? Said that she was calling to tell me that my account has been frozen. Clearly bullsh*y but I played along saying ‘Oh no, really??’ ‘That’s really bad…’ ‘Surely that can’t be right?’ I then started to giggle and she said ‘Are you playing with me?’ I said ‘What do you think, you silly cow!’ and hung up immediately after. Clearly a nasty scammer…

sounded South American and told me I had a problem with my account. Why can't the government stop these calls?

Indian guy said he was from Telstra informing me I had fraudulent activity on my internet. I'm not even with Telstra, told him he was full of sh*t,he got abusive and I hung up 😂😂

Received phone call from this number. Did not answer as the phone extension was from another state (QLD 07?). So ignored the call & will report and block it into the future.

Asian man pretending to be calling about my "Telstra internet service". I told him I'm not with Telstra an hung up.
