“James” from the wine group
I’m not sure if it’s a flat out scam or a super aggressive sales tactic, but “James” seems to be a fairly sophisticated bot (he’ll respond with the same scripted answers, depending on how you respond to him but he sounds very “human”) who’ll call you and tell you how he doesn’t want you to miss out on their 80 percent off of wine offer before offering to transfer you to a “sales and service” department to complete the sale. I noticed that he sounded strange when I said I am not interested, and he reverted to his script and started to sound really automated. Had a couple of these now from different numbers.

they call twice a week looking for Jeffery but then try and sell wine. I have asked them not to call me at least 20 times.
