They are scammers trying to scam people by asking them to install software on laptop/PC and then taking control over it.

Caller: Indian call centre

Indian female called claiming to be from EBay customer service, she must have dropped her mic as I heard different voices making the same calls, including someone claiming to be from Amazon. Clearly a scam. When she realised what I heard she cut the call.

Said they were amazon prime subscription about to bill me $99.99. I’ve never had a subscription lol

Hung up when I answered. Blocked

Asian-Indian scammer-Hang Up Immediately!
Then block the number so that you can avoid them.

Called our business line and upon answering it with our business name, they hung up. Guess we are not prime candidates for Amazon? :D

Was expecting another call. Called this one back and message "could not be connected, call back later".

Received a call from this number and didn't answer it. Searched for it and found this thread.
Just block it and move on.

Why do they alway ask "is this Chris?" ?(It's not lol)
Then proceeded to claim they from Amazon. I hung up halfway through them saying "Amazon" cause I've never had an account.

They called- no message left- was supposedly a call from Brisbane- now blocked

I answered, sounded like a very loud call centre. I’m not sure if the caller realised I had answered and she was speaking (what sounded like) Indian to another man. They hung up about 10-15seconds in. I tried to call back and the call wouldn’t go through

This caller rang but did not leave a message. I chose not to answer as I did not recognise the number. They could have left a message on my voicemail but they did not so I think I probably did the right thing by not answering
