Said she was from Telstra I had internet problems. I said I had and it had been fixed, but she still carried on with her spiel saying I had problems. Told her that was BS and she hung up.

Lady with Indian accent apparently from Vodafone offering 3 months discount on my contract, then proceeded to ask me for details about my account. I said I was busy with work and to call back later. Not heard from them again but I doubt it was actually Vodafone.

A man with a heavy accent claimed to be from 'Visa and Mastercard Verification'. He asked me how was & I must've choked on a laugh as I replied and asked him how he was! Then he then hung up on me!

Caller: FAKE AMAZON PRIME SCAM

Automated message saying it was from Amazon Prime Cancellation Services. Says $99 and 99 cents will be debited from your bank account, but if you wish to speak to Cancellation Services Department - PRESS 1. I've never had, or even considered having Amazon Prime and I'm pretty sure it isn't $99.99. Amazon Prime would not call you to tell you they are debiting your bank account. If you DO have a subscription they would just take the money to renew your subscription and send you an email receipt - no phone call. If you DON'T have a subscription they most certainly wouldn't call you to alert you to the fact that they are about to steal money off you. Obviously a scam to get you to press 1.
