Said they were from VISA. I hung up. Obvious Indian call centre with lots of background noise.

My phone blocked the call as a potential fraud

Indian call centre said from NBN calling re security matter on my service. Told him I wasn’t on the NBN called me a bitch and hung up.

Scam Alert!
Called and said it was about my NBN connection and network security was compromised but I don’t have NBN!

Caller: Optus billing (supposedly)

Just called - obviously knew my number ending & said was from Optus billing & giving 40% disc for next 7mths. I said I don’t know who you are. It did sound like Indian call centre (hard these days as even genuine telco service operators sound like that & patchy calls). I asked again where they were from & female repeated.. I said I’m busy I was finishing lunch need to get back - oh will only take 2-3mins. I said no it won’t, not to review that. They were annoyed but not abusive. I ended call. It was local call that’s why I answered - I’d like to know how others had their phone rec’ognise it was potentiall scam #.

My phone listed it as "potential fraud" so I did not answer and blocked the number. Glad I did now!

Caller: Said they were from microsoft

Caller knew my name and said they were from microsoft and had detected a virus on one of my devices. I then hung up.

Caller: Indian guy

Caller said he is from Optus offering 40% discount on my bill

Persistent scam number that does not answer call back

Caller: My phone flagged and blocked the call as Potential Threat

Recorded message about a Visa charge. Didn't wait till it finished.

Call regarding Visa/Mastercard spend confirmation - put through to Indian call centre - when I said I dont have a Visa card they hung up.

Indian call centre said they were from Visa Security - don't have a visa hung up

Indian call centre who claims to be AMAZON Prime to renew. He said that the message previously referred to renewing my amazon prime account for $39.99 and when i told him i did not have an amazon account he started to say but the purchase is here, then when i said someone was trying to use my details he hung up.

Some bullsh*t Ebay scam. Avoid at all costs
