Caller: AMAZON SCAMMER

Scam automated voice from "amazon" - blocked the number

Caller told me that they were from the Commonwealth Bank. It was a poor quality phone line, she spoke in a thick accent. When I asked her to confirm who she was and where she was from she hung up.

Didn't pick up. Caller left no message. Suss number.

Delay before caller identified self as "Australian Federal Police cyber fraud investigator". Hug up when I said I didn't recognise the number and would contact the AFP myself

Recorded message from the and bank telling me a purchase of $1000 had been made with my credit card . Press 1 press t2 yo authorise this .. I did . Bloke with an accent asked if I had purchased bitcoin in the last hour .. said do you think I’m stupid swore and told him what I thought of him, hung up and blocked number

Tried to claim there were unauthorised charges on my account

Said they were from Amazon security and someone was using my details to buy an iPhone in the US. When asked for name and number to call back and verify they got abusive and were swearing at me then hung up

Same here. Claiming from commbank, asked if I had authorised bitcoin and could I log on to my commbank app. I asked what the account number ended in and he said it was my smart access account. I don’t have one of those. So I hung up.

Caller had very strong Asian accent who claimed she was from Visa ? and wanted me to authorise Visa charge for $900 ( I think). I hung up and blocked call number.

Insurance scam, claiming car accident

Scam call, claimed I had unauthorised Ebay purchases. Hung up when I said I would check it out myself

Apparently from visa claiming I have 2 ebay transactions pending on Apparently being a international transfer for 1000 dollars and to press 1 to cancel.

got this call today. Managed to make my way to this website page to see everyone's response about the number. i didn't answer, they didn't leave a message.

Caller said they were from visa/Mastercard and my account had been compromised.
Tried to tell me someone was trying to take $500 from commonwealth bank account to California. They then wanted me to go to google and go to a validation site and I said my husband will do it when he hangs up and he hung up in me

I received a call from them 19/05/22 stating they were from Telstra and wanting to talk to me about my home internet. I hung up and blocked the number
