Claimed to be from Amazon stating that my automatic renewal of $99.99 for Amazon Prime was happening tomorrow.

Hung up when I corrected the pronunciation of the surname and asked who was calling.

Received a call from this number, playing a recorded message about eBay purchase of $299.

I've had similar calls claiming that people are using my internet. They don't like it, meaning they hang up, when you tell them that it's no drama as I'm on unlimited downloads or that you don't even have the internet!

Scam! Male caller Indian accent. Claiming to be from Telstra and calling to say someone was trying to steal my identity… umm yes mr fake Telstra you’re trying to steal my identity.
Interestingly my husband was on the phone to Telstra re: a different matter simultaneously. I’m wondering if our information was being shared by the Telstra employee.
