getting so sick of these dodgy callers. I wonder if they'd remove my number from their hit lists if I changed my voicemail to say "Leave your message for Detective Jones after the tone"

Caller: Telstra Technical Department

“Jessica” (could hardly understand her), from Telstra Technical Department calling to advise my internet was sending error messages and she could immediately resolve the issue if I followed her instructions.
I said “oh I’d be happy to if you’d follow my instructions whilst I place you on hold and transfer you to the Federal Police”
Must’ve been a technical issue as the call disconnected, whoops!

Saying they are Amazon and $99.99c will be direct debited from your account… I hung up.

Don't answer if you don't recognise the number! If they are genuine (which some are) they'll leave a proper message which you can reply to. Scammers never leave a message.

Left msge saying Hello, Hello..... I returned the call and got msge " The number you have called is not available" Obviously another scammer!!!

This number is still around! Called but left no message. Typical. Have blocked.

Scam from com bank

Received a call stating they were Mastercard & visa security. They said I had a suspect scam with a payment pending to a John Smith of $250. They got me to go onto Apple App Store to get Anydesk app. Told me how to open it. Once he said to Ok for desktop live then he said open my bank account app so they could scan my accounts for scams. I told him to piss off & hung up. Then I deleted the anydesk app. He tried to call again with the phone number & then twice more with no number. Scamming Bastards. I reported to my Bank.

Recorded message saying they were from Mastercard and that an overseas payment of $1000 was waiting to be processed. Press 1 to approve and 2 to report scam

Account overdue. going to debit $99 from my bank account. U hung up. Do not even have an account with Amazon. Definately a Credit Card Scam.

SCAM - Credi card fraud

Scam, first claimed to be from Visa Mastercard, said someone in California was using my card to buy things from ebay and Amazon, then asked for what bank im with, obviously a scam

Scam! Person said they were from the visa and Mastercard security centre and there was an $800 transaction pending on my account. Said they could cancel it and we’re going to show me how to check my VPN location as there were 2 using my number and one was in California using my card.
