Claimed to be from Telstra offering 50% discount on my Telstra phone bill - kept saying I was ineligible for the discount (ha ha - his english not too good!). I challenged this as my work pays for my phone bill. Called him a scammer and he laughed and asked "what are you going to do about it?" I said "report you to the police as this is illegal and you should be ashamed of yourself trying to scam innocent people"! He just continued to laugh at me, so I hung up.

Caller: Scammer Got this call and answered. South Asian sounding lady said that she was from NBN and that there was an issue with my internet. Then I bombarded her with lots of questions. Just be warned that NBN NEVER calls the EndUsers as we mainly deal with the Retail Service Providers directly like Telstra, Optus, Superloop, AussieBroadband etc.

this number has obviously been sold on to the next batch of conartists since the earlier folks left their comments on their experiences...
now it is claiming to be Vodaphone, telling me that my phone will soon be out of service. Riiiiiight... coz that's how Vodaphone will tell me. Told me to press 1 for English, 2 for Chinese...
as i hung up i could hear it repeating itself in Chinese. buh-bye tossers.

Advice is to let this one ring out. They don't leave a message which usually means "scam"

Call ended as soon answered. I called back with my number blocked and received a busy tone or similar. Looking at the other comments, this is obviously a scam - waste of time call.
They just won't give up......
