Woman claiming to be from commonwealth bank security about a transfer of $800 from my bank account to the US. Hung up immediately after this sentence. Tried to call back - call failed. Scam.

Another lot! I never answer calls from unknown numbers these days - no one should - but on this occasion, with the phone next to me, I did what I do sometimes and picked up the phone simply to listen. A man with a foreign accent said nothing but "Hello?" a few times before hanging up. It was pretty obviously yet another, perhaps the thousandth, scam call, so I kept the line open for the next few hours while I had my afternoon nap. I always hope that doing that will prevent them using the number to torment and possibly even scam other people, but at the very least none of these lowlifes were able to call me for a while and I had peace.
Of course after reading the comments here I have blocked the number.

This older lady who kept pausing to work out what to say next - TELSTRA ???? - my internet has changed from private to public ????
Asked when this happened - Today - Don't believe this is a honest call - what number can I call you back on - hung up.

Random number called my phone i did not answer it's another scammer

I press one when they tell me, a person answers, then I tell her to press one for the police department, I have never seen anyone hang up that quick.

These people, no they are not people, they are scum.
They are sick scum trying to get innocent people to release their money to these scammers.
Hell is too good for them.

call from this number claiming to from amazon. absolute scumbag. had a row with them and when i told them where to go , he called me a cheeky little sh*t. lets hope karma gets the ****

Apparently the caller was from Telstra, they were letting me know that people from O/S were hacking my private information through my internet connection.
