They pretended there was an issue with my nbn and they needed access to me computer - when i said i worked for Telstra she swore and hung up

Caller: AVA from Australia Live Point

Called, knew my full name, said she was Ava calling from "Australia Live Point" researching about the impact of inflation on everyday people. I asked how you got my number, she said they have a team of researchers...she wanted to survey me about inflation and impact of it. I did a search about the company on google, nothing came up about it. Not sure if genuine.

This time it was an automated voice pretending to be Ebay and asking for confirmation about money paid. They gave options to press numbers in response. Didn't press any. Con artists. The number is now blocked.

They're back !!! Scammers. Don't answer.

Didn't answer call ( I was peeling prawns) no message was left which I always take as being a scam call.

Robocaller….came up as Spam

Called saying they were from bigpond. Said suspicious activity detected Read my email address out I hung up and blocked the number

Told me they were Commonwealth bank and someone had made a payment of $600. asked if i approved it, specifically asking me to say yes or no
told them I don't have a commonwealth account, they responded that someone has created one in my name, told them good luck if its in my name because it doesn't contain my money...

They gave up and hung on me
