Caller: Indian sounding Male

Said he was representing Telstra and my internet IP may have been compromised. Talking about me logging onto my computer. Got a bit aggressive when I told him I had nothing to do with Telstra. I then hung up. Got another call from Indian female 2 days later on (07) 3521 3088 (other reports on this site)

I have just been called by this number, Indian male claiming to be from Mastercard and Visa services. He wanted me to go to the app store on my phone and download an app called zoho assist customer, this app would give him full control of my phone. This could have had serious consequences had I not realised from the start that it was a scam!! PLEASE BE WARY PEOPLE, there are some really nasty people out there!
This happened just now so maybe he has been laying low for a while! 02.03.23

An Indian sounding male claiming to be from Telstra “informing” me that I’m eligible for a 6-month special deal and I’m not even on Telstra.

If I don’t recognize the number I just don’t answer

Called with local number . No one there then a recording started. Hung up before I could hear what it was. Surely scam

real fuzzy connection - Indian man said he was Amazon Security and asked if i had made any purchases lately...

rang landline has rang before scam

Called and immediately hung up. Then kept the voice mail going without leaving any message.
Probably scam 😕

They hung up after they realised I was in the car driving.
The number does not connect upon calling back.
Scammers.

Sent to my spam by my phone

Recording said it was Ebay, if I did not order please press 1, which I did then I was cut off.

Scammer pretending to be Ebay, told them where to go and hung up.

Said they were from ANZ, suspicious transaction detected of $X amount, card blocked and call back on 1300 473 xxx. Scam call, DO NOT CALL back or the 1300 number and ONLY call ANZ from number published on their website.

Offering me "Cheap Electricity"

Recorded message about PayPal account (I don’t have one). Obviously dodgy. Called 7/6/23

Another India Scam Call Centre, Use "Bixby Text Call" - It works wonders and they hate it.

Same here. just called now on the 31/3 phone automatically blocked it. SCAM SCAM SCAM! Don't answer.

Indian sounding male, called asking if was such and such. Saying that I had a requesting balance of 7 million dollars needing to be released and asking if I wanted to confirm through commonwealth bank ( don’t bank with them. I laughed and then hung up.
