This number just called me, it was an Indian woman saying she was from Visa and Mastercard…. etc.. I instantly hung up, I knew it was a scam call. Never had one from a Brisbane landline before.

Have had several calls from 07 3521 **** with just the last four digits changed.
These are obvious scam calls and they always ring around meal times.

Just had call from (07) 3521 3007 saying they are from the Commonwealth Bank and had I placed an order for a $1299 iPhone. He spoke broken English and when I asked how I could know he was from the bank, he hung up

As above - claiming to be from ANZ credit card (don't have one) seeking authorisation for $1000 withdrawal.

Scam = delete + block

Call appeared to be from a land line in Brisbane. There was a pause and a man who sounded very rushed said "Thank you for being referred to ANZ Bank". I hung up.

Didn't know the number so I didn't answer. Looked up number on reverseaustralia.com and found out it was a scam number.

They say press 1 if I don’t want to renew my Amazon subscription. I don’t have an Amazon account.

Asked to me check my router since I’ve been complaining about slow internet.
Then wanted me to download an app to remote into my phone.

They said they were Amazon and that they were going to debit my account $99 and to press 1 if I didn't want to be charged. I hung up, I don't have an Amazon account.

Some telemarketer just said hello and then cut off. Could be a scammer, but as a coherent message wasn't left, it wasn't an issue. Blocked number anyway, as I do with any number I don't recognise.
