I had 5 calls in a row - i kept hanging up, they kept ringing. also do not know who it was

Tried calling the number back and it comes up with a message "Please stay on the line and you will be transferred to the next available agent", but no indication of what business or agency it is. Didn't stay on the line to find out, just didn't feel right.

When I answered there was no one there initially then an Indian voice started with the sales pitch. I told her I a, on the Do Not Call register and it was illegible to call me. It she persisted. I hung up and have blocked that number.

Google blocked this and another number (already on report as solar sales call).

Phoned home but didn’t leave a message

"Seemingly selling a genuine sort-after product, (in this case Solar as the click bait); coming through various Australian numbers from an off shore call centre!
Obviously not enough screening by Google. Not screened by Australian telecom providers! Easy to get an unsuspecting buyer to give all sorts of info! BEWARE!
Should be investigated by our "smart arse" multi-billion dollar spy agency for 'transnational serious and organised crime' and 'cyber crime'...."

Woman with Indian sounding accent trying to sell me solar panels. I told we had them but she asked 3 more times if we did. I asked her to delete my number from their call list and she said ;Yes, Yes, I understand, but how much electricity do you pay?' I told her none of her business and she hung up.

I kept calling and harassing them until the number no longer worked.

Trying to sell solar panels. Blocked.

This number called twice yesterday, and showed as calling from Tasmania. Not a Tas number. Political perhaps?
