Caller: AGL

Knew my name, claimed to be from AGL. Tried to sell me on signing up for an electricity account (I already have a gas account with AGL) and mobile and internet. Wasn't too pushy when I declined but have called once a day for the last week until I blocked the number.

Claimed to be AGL. Called AGL to confirm advised scam

I answered this number today and the speaker claimed she was from AGL offering me a new contract with cheaper rates and an incentive gift of a gift card. Knew I had been with AGL for a while. I'm bit sceptical these days so just said I will look into it and call AGL.
Judging by the messages here thought it was great I didn't go on with it. Pays to ring the company back.

Claimed to be from AGL but had weird silences. Asked odd questions. Terminated call when I became evasive.

Called me 4 times today, I don't believe that from AGL, because I had gas account with them. The guy who was calling me called my middle name rather my first name, it's a bit weird.

Claiming to be AGL. Filipino accented voice, wanting to assist me in maximising discounts. Told her to write me a letter as I did not believe she was AGL

Very likely a scam caller. Claims to be AGL offering discount gas charges on the account I already have with them. Wanted my email address to send a link for 'confirmation' but I said AGL must already have my address, then the call was cut off while she was mid-sentence trying to reply to me.
