I broke my rule of never answering calls I don’t know. I answered, and there was dead silence from the other end. I did not wait to for the presumed autodialler to connect to an operator. When I Googled the number it comes up with Netsip Pty Ltd in Brisbane and this information (in addition to other references to issues with compliance “ The ACMA has directed telco NETSIP PTY LTD (NetSIP) to comply with Australia’s phone scam rules after an ACMA investigation found it breached monitoring, information-sharing and reporting obligations.” Blocked and deleted.
