Called saying I cut them off, scam, hang up

Called me and my partner saying that we were playing our music really loud and that the landlord gave him our numbers. Call came from Brisbane but we live in Western Australia.

Said they were from Vodafone offering fake discounts

Same call happened to me yesterday, word for word, apparently cut off a grey Mercedes and gave her the finger

Called asking for my name and why I was calling them. I never called them. They were a bit rude about it.

It’s a prank. My kids just did it me. There’s some app that you can put a number in and it generates a fake call.

Same happened to me just now. I’m in Sydney. Couldn’t work out whether it was recorded or not but sounded pretty real. What do these crazies gain from these pranks!

Called me saying I woke him up??

Called to say that I cut them off in traffic and gave them the finger claimed the were in a grey mercedes and had my license plate number and that's how she tracked me down when I enquired twice times what number she had would not answer but just insisted I had cut her off wanted to meet me out front in 20 mins when I explained this was a mistake she then apologised and said it was a neighbour when asked again for the rego number no response and hung up
