The company is Alcom, a manufacturer of security screens. It turned out to be a genuine call from them although when they rang, all I had was the number, which I first ignored - hence looking on here for any clues as to who they might be. I reluctantly answered when they rang a second time. I had asked them for a quote and they called to rearrange the appointment.

Interestingly, their website http://www.alcomsecurity.com.au/contact lists other numbers but NOT this one!!
