This called from number listed looking for a relative. I’m not sure what privacy he breached to get my details!

I called back the number (07) 3422 6579 and the guy on the other line did not mention the company name

The caller, Jorden, asked for the ex wife of a late employee of mine. Said it was a business matter he was handling for the ex wife. Would not disclose his company or the details. Due to privacy, I gave him nothing. I'm assuming a debt collector. I asked him to remove the business number, as the person he was looking for has never worked here.

Wanted me to confirm if I was the person she was asking for and when I refused to she wouldn’t tell me any information about why she was calling except to say it was ‘in regards to a personal matter’. I turned it around & started asking questions about her…she didn’t like that. Clearly a debt collection agency who buy peoples debts for nothing off banks and larger companies then continue to harass people on a daily basis…scum bags!

Called from this number asking for a person I used to know, breach of privacy

Caller: Jordan Tong

Said he was calling about a person debt issue. I don't have any debt, not even a credit card any longer for probably 5 or so years. Very strange call. He contacted Paxus first to get my contact info. They said they wouldn't pass him my details when I said I didn't know him. Amazing, he called my mobile immediately after hanging up on Paxus. Very strange and puzzling.

Obviously debt collector/credit company.
Polite man, however says things as if he knows the person he's looking for, so you want to give him contact details/information on this person. Asks for the phone number. Says he will chase me up again in a few days if he hasn't heard from the person he is looking for. I will not answer this number again when I see it displayed.
