Suncorp fraud prevention.

Caller: Suncorp Fraud Detection

This number is legitimate. Suncorp were checking a recent transaction to a new biller using 'remote access' and felt the need to query. The transaction was legitimate and I use my mobile to transact most transactions. My Suncorp app was closed whilst they investigated and after I spoke to them, they reinstated access to my account. Probably due to lots of recent identity thefts, they're being more proactive than normal.

Incorrect Adrian, this is a legitimate number. It is the direct phone number for Suncorp Bank's fraud detection and prevention team.

The caller was checking to make sure that I was the person doing the transaction. He knew who I was and the transaction amount.
I have called Suncorp and have been advised that the number is theirs and they confirmed that they had contacted me and confirmed the call content because these calls are recorded.

Yes I got a text from this number asked to call back regarding an immediate transfer made from my Suncorp account. When I called back someone picked up the phone and not talk. It’s not from suncorp group. Banned this number.

Says to ring back about my Suncorp bank

They knew of my recent transactions via Bpay , also called my Partner regarding her account .

Yep, Suncorp Fraud Protection (or at least someone who knew my name and the exact amount of a legitimate, but suspicious transaction I made last night)

Contacted Suncorp fraud centre on their 131175 number; they have never heard of this phone no. - Clearly a phishing attempt. Do not call!!
