Had telephone call and when I answered, the caller hung up. Called back and just got an engaged tone. I would say this is a scam

Indian accented woman then man ("Nick"), claiming to be from Telstra internet, calling re scammers. Wanted to schedule technician visit for next day (suggesting they work with locally based scammers on the ground in Australia.) Man became aggressive then hung up.

Caller: "Telstra" "Jennifer" called and began an unlikely spiel and I pretended to go along with it, she then asked me if I could speak English when I wasn't very enthusiastic. I told her that this was very rude and not acceptable for a Telstra employee and could I speak to her supervisor. She then hung up. A minute later a call from (07) 4222 0790 came in. This second call was "Kevin" and he said he was the supervisor and wanted to know the problem. I said I would call Telstra directly myself to make the complaint about "Jennifer" and because these calls seemed like scams, I would also call the police. "Kevin" suddenly became incredibly abusive, saying that he wasn't afraid of the police and then started a mantra of how I have a "face like an a**hole" (kind of weird he can see through the phone) and then called me some name - I guess some sort of insult in an Indian language - asking me if I knew what that meant. He was on quite a rant, so I put the phone on speaker so my husband could also hear and we could have a laugh. Eventually we let him know the scam had failed and why was he still on the line and after a bit more insane ranting he finally hung up.
So definitely a criminal scam number.

phone rang out as I didn't recognise the number. I tried to call back but got an engaged tone. Me thinks this is a scam number. If you happen to answer this number, tell them to f*ck Off from me!
