Computer generated Call Centre with Indian accent - said I was able to claim a solar rebate from the Government.
No, I'm not eligible for the rebate plus we are on the Do Not Call register.
Likely to be a scammer Beware

When you answer there is a blank then ethnic voice asks for your family name mispronounced

I'm on Do Not Call register but this number keeps calling even on week-ends!

I received a call on this Qld number from a telemarketer selling solar panels who claimed to be calling from Sunrise Solar in Victoria. I requested a later callback and the callback came from (03) 5193 8343 suggesting the initial CID was spoofed. It was the same caller because he asked if I remembered him.

When I said my number was on the Do Not Call register, the caller was very apologetic and offered to remove my number from his list. He was reported.

On checking my answering machine this call leaves a very loud & high pitched beep. When I called back I am told this number has been disconnected.
