A female tried to convince us that there was something wrong with our internet. As soon as we mentioned that we had just been searching the internet for something, she hung up straight away. Total scam. Take no notice of these calls and don't even bother answering the phone to them.

this number rang my phone, I did not answer, looking at above comment its a scam, these 073305 prefix numbers with different end numbers have rang me about five different times, beware of any call with these prefix numbers. scam for sure.

Told me they were from Telstra and had my full name and email address saying they were giving me a discount on my bill as I never miss payments and this is a reward Telstra is giving to 250 customers. Said I didn’t need to give any details and they would t ask that over phone
Gave me his name and ID number and said to call him if any issues and gave me the Telstra number. Then told me he was sending over a verification code I needed to give him to prove it was me
Was a google verification code and I said I’m not giving it and he pleaded with me I needed to give it
I hung up

Indian male speaking, sounds like call centre in the background. Tried to tell me he was from Telstra calling in regards to my internet.

Pretends there is something wrong with internet. Caller had seemingly an Indian accent and there was a delay before answering the call.

Definitely a scam caller! I didn't answer the call they left a message that they had an automatic transfer for me! Scammer!! Telcos should block computer generated call!

This call showed as coming from Brisbane, Queensland. When I answered there were several seconds of silence, followed by a "plop" sound and a man's voice (with an Indian accent and background noise that sounded like a call centre) told me that he was from the security department of Visa and Mastercard and that there had been a suspicious purchase of about $1000 made overseas using my card by a person (whose name I can't remember). When he asked if I considered the transaction to be fraudulent, I replied that it was quite OK and legitimate. There was a silence of a few seconds, then the call was terminated from the other end.

I did not answer the call, just tried to call it back and says number not in use. Clearly a scam number.
