Caller: Scammer

Called as I didn’t know who it was at first. As I had answered the call it was automated message saying something about charger for my Amazon prime account which I just hung up

Called and hung up...

Caller: Scam - phishing for information

Left a message saying they are from the Australian government alerting misuse of passport details. Definitely sounded scammers asking for details but I did not even try to call back

Caller: Claiming to be Commonwealth Bank

Called to say I had a dodgy transaction on my account and started to ask my about my IP address. Put the phone down and called the bank who confirmed there was no issue and that it was a dodgy call.

Caller ID spoofing allows the scammer to deliberately hide their number and display an Australian number. They also tried to call me on:

Girl said she was from Telstra and other people were using our internet. I said I know and she hung up

They call and put down when you answer.

Wondering who it is as it came up as suspected spam on my phone.

Claimed to be from Telstra. Fault with my internet and they can fix for a small fee. Clearly a scam to either obtain personal info or your card details..
