Called back and said it is not in service. Have now blocked the number

Claimed that my passport was being used fraudulently. Called back - says number not in use. Now blocked.

I live in Victoria and this Brisbane number called me, they left no message about who they are or why they called. I don't attempt to call back unsolicited numbers, I just assume it's a Scam and I block the number.

Caller: Scammer

Robo call - Claimed to be from CBA fraud department, they try to scare you into thinking they are legitimate by saying there is a suspected fraudulent payment about to go through on your visa or mastercard. They then want you to press a number on your keypad if the transaction is not authorised by you (which of course it isn't) and talk to their staff during which time they will attempt to get banking details from you - Just hang up on the mongrels, or play along with them and give them fictitious answers, waste their time and then just laugh at them : )
